Carhartt Detroit (Summer) Jacket

An updated summer edition of its predecessor, the Carhartt Detroit (Summer) Jacket is named after the brands hometown in which it was founded over a hundred years ago. Created from 100% organic cotton which makes up the durable shell, the jacket is perfect for summer with the addition of a polyester mesh lining which provides breathability and there is a waterproof finish ideal for those light seasonal showers. The front closure is secured through a zip, with snap buttons to adjust cuffs and around the waist hem which allow for a customisable fit. The coat is finished in a light hamilton brown, with a contrasting dark brown corduroy top collar and a zippered chest pocket on which sits a woven Carhartt label.

Using organic cotton in order to create a sustainable alternative to regular products, Carhartt WIP hasn’t impeded on the rugged quality they’re internationally recognised for despite making environmentally conscious decisions on an ever-expanding range of goods. Staying true to its rich heritage, this jacket reflects the simplistic style founded in 1889 with a subtle modern influence which embodies the Work In Progress subdivision.
