Polar Lightweight Cap

Designed as part of the latest summer ‘20 collection from Polar Skate Co., this periwinkle coloured Lightweight Cap is made from polyamide ripstop fabric which has a hard wearing yet lightweight finish and a subtle surface texture. The brim is pre-bent to provide protection from the elements without reducing visibility and within each segment of the unstructured crown colour matched embroidered eyelets have been added to encourage ventilation. Adding distinctive branding to the design, stylised ‘Polar’ lettering has been stitched in white on the centre front of the crown and around the reverse, above an adjustable fabric strap, ‘Stay Inspired’ text has also been added. Throughout the inside of the cap the seams have been taped to reduce chafing.

Since 2011 Malmö based skate label Polar has gained an international following through their experimental skate films, impressive collective of team riders and seasonal collections of apparel, accessories and skate decks which featured decorative custom artwork. For summer ‘20 a variety of new designs have been introduced alongside refreshed staples that reflect inspirations from ‘90s culture and creativity which continue to influence each release and Polar’s overall aesthetic.
